Lead Enterprise Salesforce Architect London (1 day per week on-site) £110,000 – £120,000 £4,000 car allowance 15% bonus full benefits A global consultancy is growing its Salesforce capability and looking for a senior architect to help steer its largest and most complex engagements. This is a role for someone who enjoys shaping solutions from the top down—partnering with enterprise clients, guiding strategic roadmaps, and driving end-to-end delivery across multiple Salesforce clouds. You’ll be embedded with major household brands as a trusted advisor, leading architectural strategy, technical execution, and transformation outcomes. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring the next wave of architects and helping build one of the UK’s most ambitious Salesforce consulting practices. What you’ll be doing as a Lead Enterprise Salesforce Architect • Serve as the lead architect on major engagements, aligning delivery teams, clients, and stakeholders • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions • Design across the Salesforce platform: Sales, Service, Commerce, Data Cloud, Integration, and more • Identify risks in solution and business design and provide proactive mitigation strategies • Guide the evaluation of technology options including security, integration, compliance, and data migration • Oversee architectural governance and review key deliverables across engagements • Partner with project and programme leads to align on delivery approach and project planning • Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, from delivery teams to CxO level • Lead and mentor teams across technical delivery, communication strategies, and stakeholder influence • Support pre-sales efforts, working with pursuit teams to shape winning proposals and transition architectures • Contribute to internal innovation initiatives and actively support the growth of the practice What you’ll bring to the table • 12 years’ experience in architecture and digital transformation within a consulting environment • Deep hands-on experience designing across Salesforce Sales, Service, Commerce, and Data Cloud • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and integration tools (e.g., AWS, MDM, ESBs, ETL) • Proven track record leading Salesforce implementations from architecture through to delivery • Ability to define system and transition architectures, process optimisation, and solution design • Strong communication skills—able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike • Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange, SSO, data security, and compliance patterns • Comfortable with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; SAFe certification is a bonus • Salesforce certifications (Application/System Architect, Industries, etc.) highly preferred • Experience in hands-on Salesforce development and enterprise coded solutions is a big plus • Previous experience as a CIO/CTO or senior architect in a large matrixed organisation would be a major advantage What’s in it for you? • £110,000 – £120,000 base salary • £4,000 car allowance 15% bonus • Flexible hybrid working model – just one day per week in London • Continuous personal development and Salesforce certification support • A wide range of wellbeing and family-friendly benefits • A culture built around inclusivity, equity, and innovation This is a rare opportunity to lead complex Salesforce engagements while shaping the future of an ambitious consulting practice.
