Technical Designer (Joinery)

My Client is a design house with studios in London. We specialise in the design and manufacture of unique, custom-made kitchens, furniture, joinery and lifestyle products. The Role We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our London team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke high-end kitchen and joinery projects alongside a talented and collaborative design team. You will be responsible for: Creating production and manufacturing drawings for luxury, one-of-a-kind kitchen and furniture designs Preparing detailed installation drawings Working closely with the Project Manager and Design Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely delivery of technical documentation What We’re Looking For Personal Attributes: Strong team player with the ability to contribute to a multidisciplinary environment Proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent communication skills Receptive to constructive feedback with a desire for continuous improvement Technical Expertise: Proven experience in bespoke cabinet making and furniture construction Strong understanding of modern joinery techniques Candidates with Bench joinery or Furniture making experience would be preferred Exceptional attention to detail and a practical mindset: “How would I build this if I had to make it myself?” In-depth knowledge of material properties and manufacturing processes Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); additional software skills a bonus What We Offer A competitive salary and benefits package The opportunity to work on some of the most exclusive and innovative design projects in the luxury interiors market A collaborative and creative work environment with a focus on personal growth and craftsmanship excellence
