Structural Technician

Job Title: Structural Technician Salary: £38,000, £45,000 Location: Bristol We are working with a well-established and highly regarded engineering consultancy in Bristol, known for their collaborative approach, high-quality structural design work, and long-standing client relationships. The team works across a broad range of building projects including commercial, residential, healthcare, and education. About the role: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Structural Technician looking to take on more responsibility and have a real voice in project delivery. You’ll be a key part of the design team, producing detailed drawings and models, coordinating with engineers, and playing a hands-on role in delivering a wide variety of projects. The role offers flexibility, a strong pipeline of work, and the chance to be part of a supportive and social team. Key responsibilities: Producing high-quality structural drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit Working closely with structural engineers to develop coordinated designs Attending project meetings and contributing to technical discussions Supporting junior technicians and sharing best practice Managing workload across multiple live projects Required skills and experience: Proven experience as a Structural Technician within a UK consultancy Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM Level 2 experience preferred) Strong understanding of UK building materials and construction methods Good communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
