Senior Full Stack Engineer

A well-established client in the financial services sector is seeking a Front-End Focused Full Stack Engineer to join their technology team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to the development of a modern, scalable platform supporting a wide range of financial products and services. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, user-centric applications using a contemporary tech stack, with a strong emphasis on front-end development. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end applications using Angular 18 , PrimeNG , and AG Grid Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, product, and backend engineers to deliver robust features Build and support backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 2/3 Contribute to containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes Write clean, maintainable, and testable code across the stack Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives Candidate Profile Minimum 4 years of experience in front-end development, ideally within financial services or a regulated industry Strong proficiency in Angular (v15) , with a solid understanding of RxJS, component architecture, and state management Experience with PrimeNG and AG Grid Solid backend development experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Desirable Skills Experience with microservices and distributed systems Understanding of financial APIs, security protocols, or compliance frameworks What's on Offer A hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week in a modern Glasgow office Competitive salary, bonus and a comprehensive benefits package The chance to work on impactful projects in the financial services domain A supportive and collaborative team environment
