Senior Planning Engineer

We're Hiring: Principal Planning Engineer Manchester | Contract | 40 hours/week Are you ready to lead planning on major projects from day one? We’re looking for a Principal Planning Engineer to drive accurate scheduling, stakeholder collaboration, and forward-thinking project control across a growing portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within a forward-thinking team. You’ll be central to project delivery — and as we scale up, you’ll help grow the Planning function too. What You’ll Be Doing Owning and delivering robust project schedules from inception through construction. Managing schedule risks, change, and earned value metrics. Supporting the Project Controls Manager in leading the Planning team. Recruiting and developing planning talent as project demands grow. Driving high standards of communication, analysis, and delivery. What You Bring Experience across the full project lifecycle (engineering, construction, handover). Strong commercial awareness and schedule control expertise. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and planning tools. Desirable: experience in regulated industries and membership in ACostE or APM.
