Job Description

Responsibilities : Negotiate guarantee and bond wordings with clients, banks, insurers, and guarantors to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with company policies; Review and refine guarantee and bond terms to mitigate risks, ensure legal accuracy, and suggest improvements; Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and legal teams to understand contract requirements and ensure bond obligations are met; Liaise with banks, insurance companies, and other guarantors for the negotiation and issuance of guarantees and bonds, and facilities; Administer all guarantees and bonds issued or received by the company, including performance and bid bonds, advance payment, and other financial guarantees; Ensure timely issuance, renewal, and release of guarantees and bonds in coordination with stakeholders; Maintain an accurate database of all active guarantees and bonds, including terms, expiration dates, and associated risks; Prepare comprehensive reporting packages for financial intermediaries, including necessary documentation to support guarantee and bond transactions; Conduct risk assessments related to guarantees and bonds to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations; Regularly review guarantee and bond terms to mitigate risks and suggest improvements; Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry standards that may impact the company's obligations; Prepare periodic reports for Senior Management summarizing guarantee and bond activities, associated risks, and upcoming deadlines; Analyze trends to propose cost-saving measures or process enhancements; Maintain proper documentation of all guarantees and bonds, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits or internal reviews; Provide support during internal and external audits related to guarantees and bonds. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in finance, risk management, contract management, or a similar role; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in English and German; Proficiency in financial systems and tools; Attention to detail with strong organizational skills; Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to guarantees and bonds is a strong plus.
