Role Description: • The Project Manager - Disaster Recovery Process will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing disaster recovery strategies to ensure the continuity of critical financial services. • This role requires a deep understanding of financial systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance. • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management and disaster recovery within the financial sector. • Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures for financial services operations. • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical functions and systems. • Coordinate with IT, operations, and business units to ensure alignment and integration of DR plans. • Manage DR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. • Conduct regular DR testing and simulations to validate the effectiveness of recovery plans. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to disaster recovery and business continuity. • Provide training and awareness programs for staff on DR procedures and protocols. • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to support DR initiatives. • Prepare and present reports on DR readiness and performance to senior management. • Work with team and develop / maintain support processes, playbooks, and runbooks to ensure efficient and effective disaster recovery operations. • Create and update documentation for DR procedures, including detailed runbooks for various disaster scenarios. • Coordinate with support teams to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to execute DR plans. • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field. • PMP or equivalent project management certification. • Minimum years of experience in project management, with a focus on disaster recovery and business continuity in the financial sector. • Strong knowledge of financial systems, risk management, and regulatory requirements. • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. • Experience with DR tools and technologies. • Master’s degree in a related field. • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent certification. • Experience with cloud-based DR solutions Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
