Sr Mechanical Engineer

Your Role: Review and stamp mechanical engineering designs for projects of varying scale and complexity Guide design strategies and concepts for advanced mechanical systems Lead audits, feasibility studies, and technical investigations, producing detailed reports Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot construction-related issues, and collaborate on effective solutions Mentor and support the development of junior and intermediate engineers and designers Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of mechanical design standards and best practices What You Bring: Proven experience designing central plant systems, including hot water, steam, and chilled water systems Strong understanding of DDC control systems, including creating sequences of operations, writing specifications, and resolving on-site control challenges In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards, such as OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, and ASPE Broad industry experience spanning commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, multi-residential, and government sectors Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure A collaborative, team-oriented approach with sound judgment and a commitment to high-quality work Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license in Ontario, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant Canadian experience Thanks to all the applicants in advance!
