One California Responsibilities In line with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers' healthcare philosophy, the Orthopedic Physician Assistant collaborates with an orthopedic trauma team to treat patients and support the trauma program. The role involves participating in patient care in the operating room, during surgery, pre-op and post-op care, and on the hospital floor. The PA will coordinate care with other services and evaluate and assist in managing patients in the emergency room. Qualifications 1-3 years of prior experience as a Physician Assistant. Knowledge of physician assistant principles and techniques. PA State Certification. DEA license. Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to team-based patient care.
