About the Role As the HVAC Artisan, you'll be responsible for performing scheduled, preventative, and emergency maintenance on HVAC and water reticulation systems. You’ll ensure quality compliance, quick fault resolution, and consistent operational uptime — all while working in a regulated, service-driven environment. What You’ll Own Maintenance and inspection of air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and water systems Emergency fault-finding and rectification with time-sensitive turnaround Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment Reporting risks, safety concerns, and site issues proactively Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and job specifications Continuous communication with supervisors and stakeholders on job progress What You Bring Matric (Senior Certificate) N3 – N6 in Mechanical Engineering Trade Test in HVAC (Air-conditioning & Refrigeration) 5 years’ hands-on HVAC experience post-trade Working knowledge of water reticulation systems and digital controls Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook Strong knowledge of the OHS Act and safety standards Valid SA driver’s license What Success Looks Like Equipment operates reliably, safely, and efficiently Downtime is minimised through proactive maintenance All work completed on time, to spec, and in full compliance Effective team communication and task follow-through Clients and colleagues trust your technical capability and responsiveness
