Senior E,C&I Engineer

We're currently seeking a Senior E,C&I Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a key role offering the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding projects in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment. Role Overview: The Senior E,C&I Engineer will be responsible for the design, specification, and delivery of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems on large-scale industrial projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, clients, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of E,C&I systems for industrial or infrastructure projects Prepare detailed engineering documents: Specifications, datasheets, drawings, and schedules Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and safety evaluations (e.g., HAZOP, and SIL) Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover processes Liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients, to ensure technical compliance Mentor Junior Engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related discipline 7 years of experience in ECI engineering Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., IEC, BS, ATEX, and NEC) Proficiency in using engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or AVEVA Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and instrumentation selection Excellent communication and project coordination skills Chartered status or working towards it (desirable)
