Job Description

Requirements: A formal qualification. National Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Procurement or any related qualification. Experience: Procurement and expediting of fuel (and where necessary engineering, and indirect orders) Engagement with the Production Team for daily order placements and stock control on sites. Engagement with various transporters and service providers to ensure and verify required service delivery. Administrative tasks such as raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement and logistics registers. Ensure that Regional Procurement and Administration procure-to-pay processes are followed for receipting of orders and services on Sage X3. Assist with compiling weekly and monthly Procurement and supply chain health checks and reports. Monitor standard operating procedures with suppliers and transporters and ensure adherence to such procedures. Be on standby every alternate weekend, to ensure that expediting and procurement of orders takes place as scheduled. Key Responsibilities: Good time management and ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Very strong numerical skills and aptitude. Professionalism and meticulous work quality and attention to detail and accuracy. Fully conversant with MS Word and MS Excel. Knowledge in Sage X3 system will be beneficial. Good command of English (Speak, read, write) Be prepared to undergo further training (internal & external learning programmes) Own transport.
