The ideal candidate as Senior AI Data Engineer in NTT DATA Gov & Tech will have a solid Generative AI hands-on capability (preferably on Azure/GCP and on-premise GenAI architecture and MLops), a mathematical background, and experience working on classification, informational retrieval, clustering, and optimization problems. They should be skilled in establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and deployment. The Senior AI Data Engineer will collaborate with Data Scientists, Data, and ML Engineers to identify business opportunities, design, and create new data pipelines from scratch, from experimentation to deployment. He/She will manage multiple projects, lead ML Engineers, and liaise with stakeholders. Required Skills At least 3 years of experience in Data Science or Software Engineering in a production environment. Strong knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms. Knowledge of Agentic Applications Design, Architecture, and Development. Experience with Vector Databases is appreciated. Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture. Proficiency in at least two mainstream programming languages (Python, Scala, Java, C++). Experience building infrastructure for data scientists, ML practitioners, or data consumers/producers. Knowledge of Spark, Databricks is a plus. Experience deploying ML solutions on public cloud platforms and cross-cloud environments; Snowflake knowledge is a plus. Deep knowledge of machine learning frameworks like Keras or PyTorch. Ability to design and implement machine learning pipelines in production. Experience with deployment, CI/CD, containerization, and MLops/Re-Training/Drift Management. Ability to mentor junior team members in ML and Deep Learning concepts. Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and external clients.
