Description Hitachi Rail seeks an enthusiastic, self-motivated Signalling Configuration Engineer to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role involves tasks ranging from administrative to strategic, based in Naples, Italy. Accountabilities Ensure data collection from scheme plans and other sources using configuration tools. Contribute to subsystem configurations, including data collection, preparation, and validation. Manage control of input data, configuration documents, and executable files according to company processes. Execute assigned integration lab tests or parts of tests. Correct defects found during validation and site testing. Required Skills/Knowledge Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Ability to prepare technical specifications and documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, and basic AutoCAD knowledge. Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad for railway and metro installations. Effective network collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills. (Preferred) Basic knowledge of electrical and relay circuits. (Preferred) Understanding of software programming logic and relational databases.
