We go beyond the obvious We take ownership We do what is right We collaborate to win PRIMARY FUNCTION: The EHS specialist: Works with the EHS Manager to ensure and assess the correct application of environmental regulations. Processes with the organization, the preventive measures to reduce the sources of environmental impact. Collaborates in defining the activity of recycling and improvement of environmental performance. Collaborates in the activities of maintenance and improvement of the environmental management system UNI 14001. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate in the definition and implementation of activities related to environmental monitoring and insert the data into the reporting systems of the organization. Verify the proper application of waste legislation, supervise activities, and participate in programs to reduce and re-use waste. Contribute to the establishment of environmental improvement programs. Assist in inspections and audits to evaluate compliance with environmental standards. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: (including education & years of experience): - Degree in Engineering or equivalent. - Knowledge of environmental and safety legislation and practices. - Good working knowledge of statistical process control.
