Partner with the best The Test Bench Leader is the primary contact for all operations related to erection, assembly, and testing of the assigned string test plant. This role involves driving safety, quality, cost management, and on-time delivery of all mechanical and electrical operations involved in test bench preparation, erection, functional testing, and disassembly. The Test Bench Leader coordinates activities with external suppliers and is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving non-conformities, maintaining connections with partner functions such as product engineering, assembly, and manufacturing. They are also tasked with fostering a culture of Safety and Quality among partners and suppliers working on the test bench. Key responsibilities include: Managing string test operations, including erection and installation according to production schedules. Supervising external suppliers' activities like assembly, lifting, welding, and mechanical/electrical work. Providing technical guidance on non-conformities, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams. Drafting and maintaining operation quality and safety reports and checklists as per standards. Monitoring project budgets and adjusting plans to control costs. Capturing and applying lessons learned during operations. Suggesting improvements and innovations for test bench activities. Ensuring high standards of HSE and quality during all phases of assembly, testing, and disassembly. Fuel your passion To succeed in this role, you should: Hold a degree in Mechanical, Energetic, Electrical, or Aeronautical Engineering, with relevant work experience. Possess excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Be capable of managing multiple projects with high intensity. Be an analytical problem solver with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Have good knowledge of Turbomachinery System architecture and commissioning operations. Be fluent in English and Italian and authorized to work within the EU.
