An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the development of the Digital Technology Dept. at Haier Europe. What you will do The CDO is the executive responsible for fostering value creation through the organization’s data assets and external data ecosystem. The associated tasks include : Creating value through data exploitation Envisioning data-enabled strategies Enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics Establishing data and analytics governance Specifying enterprise information policy Aligning data policy and administration with relevant regulatory, legal, and ethical mandates Primary Responsibilities Taking authority, responsibility, and accountability for exploiting the value of enterprise information assets and analytics used for decision-making, automated decisions, and human performance augmentation. Defining data and analytics strategy practices, leading the creation and relevance of the firm’s data and analytics strategy in collaboration with executive leaders, and establishing an enterprise operating model. Overseeing the development and deployment of the enterprise’s data and analytics platform for digital business. Leading research and strategy creation for new data products or services to expand markets and grow revenue. Expanding research and analytics offerings, focusing on emerging analytical approaches, skills, and technologies for digital innovation. Fostering a data-driven culture, competencies, and data literacy across the enterprise. Identifying new data sources and creating a centralized service for sourcing external data, ensuring quality, traceability, and cost-effectiveness. Regulatory and Governance Accountabilities Leading regulatory and compliance programs related to data and analytics assets. Representing the enterprise to regulators, customers, suppliers, and external bodies in industry standards development. Ensuring audit controls and data validity for regulatory reporting and legal compliance. Developing controls for data quality, interoperability, and sources to manage corporate risk. Collaborating with security and privacy officers to create policies for information protection. Leading a data and analytics governance council for oversight and policy creation. Participating in governance domains such as business strategy, enterprise architecture, and risk management. Managing enterprise information management principles, policies, and programs for data stewardship and custodianship. Ensuring adequate controls for master data and metadata management, including reference data. J-18808-Ljbffr
