Senior RTL Engineer (Risc-V)

If you have a solid background in RTL design, architecture, or microarchitecture and want to contribute to the development of next-generation processors on an advanced technology node, we want to hear from you! What You’ll Do Design and implement key components of a high-performance RISC-V CPU core, focusing on the processor pipeline, d-cache, i-cache, L2 pipeline, and a custom memory controller. Drive the development of new features and enhancements, from high-level architecture down to cycle-accurate RTL implementation. Analyze and optimize performance, power, and area trade-offs to achieve design goals. Collaborate with verification engineers to ensure functional correctness and high-quality designs, including debugging RTL and contributing to testbench development as needed. Contribute to architectural discussions and propose innovative solutions for performance and efficiency improvements. Participate in design reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members when required. Develop and maintain scripts to automate design tasks, improve design productivity, and integrate with build and regression systems. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in RTL design and implementation, preferably in CPU or SoC projects. Strong expertise in Verilog or SystemVerilog for RTL design. Solid understanding of computer architecture concepts, including processor pipelines, caches, memory hierarchies, and interconnects. Experience with advanced technology nodes (e.g., 7nm, 5nm) is a plus. Familiarity with industry-standard tools for RTL design, synthesis, and static timing analysis. Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl) for automation and productivity improvements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively in English (C1 level or higher), both written and spoken.
