Freelance Node.js/Oracle Fullstack Developer

For a customer in Gent, I am searching for a freelance fullstack developer who can support their frontend and backend by bridging the gap between internal systems and customer-facing applications. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust integration layers and APIs that ensure seamless data and process flows between the company’s internal platforms and external applications used by customers. The selected consultant will work closely with the internal team, external development team, and stakeholders to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of the integration landscape. Responsibilities Design and implement API integrations between internal and external systems Collaborate with internal technical teams and external application owners to gather requirements and align on interface standards Ensure secure and efficient data exchange following best practices and compliance guidelines Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with deployment activities Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer for internal stakeholders Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues in real time Profile Strong expertise in Node.js Experience developing backend applications in PL/SQL and frontend applications in Oracle APEX Familiar with RESTful APIs, authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT), and modern integration patterns Autonomous, structured, and solution-oriented Additional Details SENIORITY: Medior/Senior START DATE: June/July DURATION: 12 Months EXTENSION: Yes CONTRACT: Freelance LOCATION: Gent ONSITE POLICY: Flexible HOURS PER WEEK: 40 LANGUAGES: Fluent English, Dutch is a bonus but not mandatory INTERVIEW PROCESS: 1-2 stages If you are interested, please forward your updated resume to jay.kukoyi@vividresourcing.com to be considered.
