Project Engineer

In the role as Project Engineer your main tasks and responsibilities will be: Define, safeguard, and enhance processes, machines, and projects Complete projects and process improvements within budget Conduct feasibility studies for investments and new technologies Support the development and execution of validation protocols with the quality team Provide technical training to production, technical, and quality staff Manage quotations, orders in the ERP system, and invoice approvals Collaborate on calculation requests and offer alternative solutions with engineers, project coordinators, and the manager Optimize assigned packaging lines to improve efficiency and performance Develop and monitor operational parameters to meet standards Analyze problems and implement improvement actions with engineering team Document processes with detailed descriptions and instructions Liaise with suppliers regarding new machines, technical information, or interventions Attend industry fairs and training to enhance technical knowledge Supervise and monitor contracted staff Manage and maintain project plans and budgets from start to finish Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Take corrective actions for quality deviations or safety issues Apply quality systems for Change Requests and CAPAs, supporting the quality team in defining and executing actions Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality procedures Foster a positive work environment emphasizing quality, customer focus, flexibility, speed, decisiveness, and orderliness To perform well in this function you will need: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, such as electromechanics, or equivalent through experience Familiarity with, or interest in, GMP guidelines, pharmaceutical regulations, hygiene, etc Experience with quality systems, procedures, and training Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Dutch, German, or French is a plus Experience in report writing Ability to think conceptually with solid technical knowledge and experience in project management Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented attitude Excellent planning and organizational skills, with good cost awareness Good time management skills Ability to work results-oriented with attention to quality and strong quality awareness Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Driven personality with a positive, constructive, and open-minded attitude Able to organize work independently, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team Permanent employment contract Work within a rapidly growing company Attractive salary package with additional benefits such as meal vouchers, hospitalization and group insurance, extra vacation days, and more Our client is part of a larger group specializing in the packaging and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
