Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer - West Flanders Region - Permanent Role I am currently working with a company that provides specialist automation machinery manufacturing solutions for their clients across the Flemish region. They are looking for an engineer with significant experience in the programming of PLCs & Robotics. Responsibilities: Design, program, and commission PLC systems and robotic systems. Take a significant role in the A-Z of turn-key machine building projects, being involved from design to installation of unique automation machines. Develop and optimise automation processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and design customized automation solutions. Provide technical support and training to clients when necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in Automation/PLC Engineering, ideally in a machine building environment. Significant experience in the use of Siemens & Rockwell PLCs, with the ability to program scratch required. Willingness to go to clients sites for installation, primarily in the Flemish region. Fluency in Dutch is preferred. Benefits: Salary range between €4000 and €5500 gross per month.
