Assistant Project Manager - Ground-Up Construction - Moline, IL A highly respected general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team on a $140 million ground-up construction project in Moline, Illinois . This is a major multi-sector development and an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to gain valuable experience on a high-profile build with long-term growth potential. About the Role: As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work closely with the Project Manager and on-site leadership to support all phases of construction. This includes coordination with subcontractors, scheduling, documentation, budgeting, and ensuring project milestones are met. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative and solution-oriented team delivering complex and high-profile infrastructure. Project Scope: This major initiative includes work across multiple sectors such as: Educational Water Treatment Commerce Bridge Water Infrastructure Rail Library Municipal Road Energy Utilities Responsibilities: Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination. Track subcontractor progress and manage documentation. Communicate with vendors, engineers, and field teams. Support RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists. Help monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 2 years of experience in commercial or civil construction. Proficiency in project management software (Procore, P6, Bluebeam, etc.). Strong organizational and communication skills. Passion for delivering quality construction projects safely and efficiently.
