Role: Head of Sales - Solar PV - UK Based - £80k-120k Industry: Cleantech / Renewable Energy Salary: OTE £100K (Estimated range: £80K-£120K) Hybrid: South of England Travel: Regular travel to Germany *The ideal candidate must be fluent in German and English Our client, a clean energy company, is looking for a commercially driven Head of Sales to lead its global sales strategy. This is a key leadership role with scope to shape commercial success from the ground up. Role Overview: You’ll build and lead a high-performing sales team, define commercial frameworks, and drive market entry across international territories. This is a strategic but hands-on role, ideal for someone experienced in scaling B2B sales in cleantech or deep-tech environments, particularly in the solar industry. Key Responsibilities: Own and deliver the global sales strategy Build and manage the sales team and commercial infrastructure Develop key customer and channel partnerships Work cross-functionally to align sales with product delivery Represent the company in high-level engagements and industry forums Candidate Profile: 5 years' experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally in cleantech or advanced tech Extensive experience in the solar industry (5 years), with a strong track record in selling solar modules or cells to businesses Experience across a range of markets, including utility, residential, HAPS, and automotive sectors Strong technical understanding of innovation-led products Proven success in building sales functions in early-stage or scaling firms Experience with industrial customers and international markets Fluent in English; German language skills are desirable Based in the UK or Germany, or able to travel frequently to both sites and customers If you have any questions, please reach out to bethany.crofts@everec.co.uk
