NEW OPPORTUNITY – Electrical Engineer - £55,000 DOE – Greater London (Hybrid) Piper Maddox are working with a leading EPC who consistently boast a pipeline of 300-500MW per year. My client is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team, working on large-scale solar projects across the UK and beyond. If you’ve got a sharp eye for electrical design, a solid understanding of engineering principles, and a passion for renewable energy, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: • Develop electrical designs and perform detailed engineering for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects • Create data systems to enable monitoring, remote operation, and adherence to regulatory standards • Liaise with regulatory bodies, grid operators, and internal engineering teams to ensure project alignment • Assess and approve technical documentation from both in-house teams and external consultants Skills: • Degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline • Hands-on experience with utility-scale solar PV projects; BESS experience and familiarity with the UK energy sector are advantageous • Skilled in using AutoCAD and PVsyst for design and analysis • Confident communicator with the ability to challenge suppliers and contractors constructively If this role suits your experience, then please apply or reach out to r.franks@pipermaddox.com
