Business Analyst – FinTech / Payments Location: Hybrid | Contract | Inside IR35 We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong FinTech experience to join a fast-paced digital transformation programme. The ideal candidate will have deep exposure to payment systems and payments messaging protocols (e.g. SWIFT, ISO 20022, BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments). Key Responsibilities: Gather, define, and document business and technical requirements related to payment systems and financial messaging. Work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure payment processes meet regulatory and operational standards. Analyse end-to-end payment workflows and identify optimisation opportunities. Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories. Support testing and validation of payment solutions. Essential Skills: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the FinTech or financial services sector. Strong knowledge of payment systems and messaging standards. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
