Robotics Engineer

JOB - Robotics Engineer LOCATION - Milton Keynes TERM - Permanent SALARY - £45,000 to £55,000 per annum (plus benefits) Premier Engineering is working with a leading automation company based in Milton Keynes who are looking to hire a Robotics Engineer with strong experience in ABB robotic systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team working on high-tech, cutting-edge automation solutions. The Robotics Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ABB robotic systems Proficient in ABB Rapid programming language Extensive experience using ABB RobotStudio for offline programming and simulation Familiarity with ABB’s IRC5 controller architecture Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel occasionally for commissioning or support activities The Robotics Engineer role will involve: Programming and configuring ABB industrial robots for various automation applications Using RobotStudio to perform offline programming, simulation, and testing Integrating robotic systems into automated production environments Troubleshooting robotic and control systems on-site and remotely Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software teams during system development Supporting system commissioning, testing, and customer training Ensuring projects are delivered to specification, on time and within budget If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
