As a PLC Automation Engineer/ Electrical Design Engineer, you will develop and test PLC software & Control Systems for hybrid/ electric vehicles. Electronic design engineers (Embedded C. Assembly, Python, Altium etc) may also apply The Role(PLC Programmer) Create Specifications related to vehicle Automation within an R&D Centre Design, test and maintain PLC Software Control Systems Utilise the latest Vehicle battery powered technologies Test vehicle assembly methods and materials, control systems, minimising human error on prototypes Identify issues and implement solutions with Production Team The Person(PLC Programmer) You will have a BEng Electrical or similar You will have strong PLC Programmer design skills Knowledge of Function block, ladder Logic or Structured Text Familiar with e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley, Codesys or C.
