This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and production equipment through proactive maintenance and service planning. About the Role: The Planned Service Engineer will be responsible for the routine servicing, inspection, and maintenance of a range of machinery used in within the sheet metal industry. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out routine planned maintenance of machine tools and associated equipment • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when necessary. Requirements: • Proven experience in a similar service or maintenance engineering role • Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. • Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
