Role: Strategy & Finance Manager (m/f/x) About ChefCoco ChefCoco is the fastest-growing corporate caterer in Europe. Our 50-person team serves top employers like Audible, HelloFresh & SoundCloud on a daily basis. We operate a full-stack model—from kitchen to client—and are scaling fast, with new product lines (e.g. events, finger food) already gaining traction. This is a rare opportunity to join a profitable startup at an inflection point. As a Strategy & Finance Manager, you will work directly with our Founder & CEO. You’ll run the internal financial engine while contributing to high-leverage strategic decisions across the business. You’ll ensure clarity on performance, margins, and costs—while partnering with team leads on pricing, expansion, and profitability. This is not a back-office finance role—you’ll be a central thought partner shaping how we scale. Your responsibilities: Finance Core Produce monthly P&L and weekly flash reports Own client invoicing, cash reconciliation, and expense tracking Manage payroll inputs and coordination with accountants Strategic Projects Collaborate with Growth Team on pricing strategy, margin analysis, and client unit economics Work with Kitchen Team to track and optimize food cost structures Lead strategic projects across cost optimization, pricing, and vendor terms Assist with financing strategy, forecasting, and investor updates Run ad hoc analysis to support expansion, product line changes, or strategic planning Your Profile Native-level German proficiency—you’ll be talking with major external stakeholders 1–4 years’ experience in finance, consulting, operations, or startup leadership Strong analytical and financial modeling skills High attention to detail—precision matters to you Independent problem solver—you proactively flag and fix issues Clear communicator—able to translate numbers into insight Bonus: familiarity with tools like DATEV, Spendesk, Stripe, or dashboarding tools Why Join Us?
