Data Modeler

We are hiring for our client in the financial services industry. Duration: 6 months Job Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite) Responsibilities Translate business requirements into scalable and reusable data models. Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business goals. Reverse engineer physical data models from databases and SQL scripts as needed. Develop and enforce best practices for data modeling standards and naming conventions. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and model discrepancies. Own data definitions, data lineage documentation, and metadata management. Recommend reuse of existing models and support integration across multiple systems. Support data integration, analytics, and reporting with a strong understanding of OLAP and BI principles. Requirements 5–8 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years focused on hands-on data modeling. Proven expertise in PowerDesigner or ERwin for data modeling. Strong SQL and data analysis skills; able to perform modeling and development independently. Experience with Azure solutions, Databricks, RDBMS, and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop). Familiarity with analytics/reporting environments and BI tools. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail and strong work ethic. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
