IMS Core Network Engineer

Core Network Support Engineer (Nokia 4G/5G) Remote from Mexico Job Description: This is an onsite position requiring recent hands-on experience with Nokia core network technologies . The candidate must have worked with Nokia platforms within the past 2 years and will need to obtain a security clearance . The engineer will support a Nokia customer in Oakbrook, IL, handling operational responsibilities across 4G/5G Core and related platforms. Key Responsibilities: Perform first-level troubleshooting for anomalies in core network elements. Open and manage support tickets with Nokia Care for unresolved issues. Support network activities/migrations/upgrades on behalf of the customer. Prepare and review Methods of Procedure (MOPs). Participate in ORT (Operational Readiness Testing) and ATP (Acceptance Testing Procedures). Generate incident and KPI reports (based on Scope of Work). Required Experience and Skills: Strong experience in 4G/5G packet core operations and architecture (Nokia preferred). Solid understanding and operational experience with Subscriber Data Management (SDM) . Familiarity with Cloud-Native Functions (CNF) operations and lifecycle. Operational & maintenance (O&M) experience in: MME, SPGW, AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF PCRF, HSS, PCF, UDM, AUSF, UDR CSCF, TAS, SBC, MRF Preferred / Nice to Have: Experience with Nokia CMM and CMG nodes Familiarity with Nokia APC (PCRF, HSS, PCF, UDM, AUSF, UDR) Experience with Nokia EVC O&M experience on Nokia CMU platform (CLI & GUI, CNF deployment mode) What you didn’t know about us: Competitive salary Health, Dental and Vision Benefits Long-Term growth potential 401k With this position, you will get the opportunity to work with a game changing client and further advance your already valuable experience in the telecom industry!
