Environmental Engineer

Responsible for the implementation and operation´s support of the environmental & safety management system to ensure legal compliance and a safety work environment. Qualifications Engineering preferred on Chemical, Industrial or Environmental Engineering Bilingual Corporate and Legal requirements related with HSE Mexican safety and environmental laws and regulations (Intermediate Knowledge) Budget administration knowledge (Basic) Problem Solving Skills Able to train others proactive, team work and good communication skills. Knowledge on ISO14001 & ISO 45001 Knowledge of how to operate reverse osmosis equipment, cooling towers, softeners, and treatment water plants. Activities Prepare quarterly reports on non-hazardous waste to the government agency SEMADESU. Manage the release of non-hazardous waste through referrals and monitor the process. Ensure the physical conditions of the temporary storage facility in accordance with the regulations of the General Law. Ensure that the water conditions sent to softeners, cooling towers, and reverse osmosis meet the necessary requirements. Implement and maintain ISO45001:2018 & ISO14001 Management System, identification and follow up of Safety and occupational Health legal compliance according with Mexican law, corporate requirements and others Maintain operative controls according legal compliance related with Safety and occupational Health requirements. Administration of new projects and Fire Fighting Concept implementation Contractors management according with corporate requirements (N93 A20) Prepare reports for federal, state, and municipal agencies to ensure compliance with environmental permits and authorizations.
