Asset Management Manager (Advanced English)

As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a fully bilingual Asset Management Manager and be part of our Operations team in San Luis Potosi Mexico. In this role, you will develops and implements daily and long-term strategic management of physical assets within Outokumpu that enables asset performance and supports Outokumpu Mexinox strategic plans and objectives. Outokumpu is the global leader in sustainable stainless steel. We employ some 9,000 professionals in more than 30 countries who set the gold standard for innovation. The Americas is headquartered in Calvert, Mobile County, Alabama; home to one of the most technically advanced integrated stainless-steel mill in the United States. The Americas’ footprint also expands to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, which is the only stainless steel cold rolling mill plus service center in the country. Additionally, Outokumpu business area Americas has a commercial office in Brazil. Job qualifications and experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering field Fluency in English (written and verbal) At least 5-10 years of total experience working with production assets, operations, maintenance and/or technical projects Knowledge of the ISO 9001-ISO 14001 Quality System Knowledge and application of Security systems. Desirable knowledge in Safe Star, Take Two, Make.HACE Several years of leadership experience in progressively responsible roles preferred Strong leadership and collaboration skills for cross-functional, multi-disciplinary work: Holistic understanding of the life cycle of physical assets High interest and ability to handle IT tools and data Responsibilities: Primary function is to establish and oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of assets within the organization Recommend and create policies, processes and standards for asset inventory management and MRO Develop life cycle mapping of all Outokumpu physical process assets Develop and implement an acceleration initiative to stabilize and achieve sustainable changes in mission critical process lines Develop and support all sites in maintaining a physical asset risk profile and using risk-based asset management for rational decision making Train and educate leaders, managers and supervisors to build workforce commitment to understand and support risk-based asset management. Defines and measures success metrics and monitors to ensure assets are aligned and meet Outokumpu's mission Identify and help resolve resources, priorities and financing as it relates to physical asset management.
