Voice Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Unified Communications (UC) Specialist to design, support, and manage advanced collaboration technologies across our organization. This role focuses on optimizing UC infrastructure, integrating new technologies, and ensuring service stability, while also coordinating with external partners for day-to-day operations. A strong understanding of Microsoft cloud and on-premises tools is essential in this dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Unified Communications and Messaging technologies within a Microsoft ecosystem. Provide Level 4 operational support for all UC and Mobility solutions. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate project timelines and systems integration. Recommend improvements and enhancements to optimize UC and messaging infrastructure. Test and validate new UC technologies in a simulated lab environment prior to production deployment. Optimize system performance through configuration changes, maintenance, and upgrades. Required Skills & Qualifications 5–10 years of experience managing both on-premises and Microsoft Office 365 Cloud UC environments. Proven experience with Microsoft Teams , Skype for Business , or Lync 2013 , as well as PBX systems . Demonstrated success in Unified Communications migrations within large global enterprises. Strong understanding of: Cloud concepts and Microsoft Exchange , SharePoint , OneDrive for Business Enterprise Mobility Services , SCCM , and Intune Networking fundamentals , including TCP/IP , LAN/WAN , SIP , and telephony carrier integration Experience in telephony architecture , including complex dial plans and emergency services integration. Hands-on knowledge of hosted platform design, deployment, and management . Familiarity with ITIL frameworks is highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a global mindset.
