In this role, you’ll be leading the strategic operational execution of high-profile Mary Kay events (Seminar, Leadership Conference, Executive Encounter and NSD´s Encounter) that reflect the company values, standards, and business goals. This role is responsible for ensuring excellence in on-site logistics, vendor performance, staff coordination, and overall event quality, serving as the key bridge between event planning and flawless delivery. As a critical member of the Special Events team, the Leader plays a supervisory role in maintaining brand consistency and delivering exceptional experiences that strengthen the company’s image and sales force relationships. Responsibilities—what you'll do: Strategic Event Operations Management: Oversee all on-site aspects of event execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards, organizational priorities, and audience expectations. Lead operational decisions in real time to ensure quality, safety, and excellence. Vendor Oversight and Compliance: Supervise and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring services are executed as contracted. Enforce timelines, service level agreements, and escalation processes. Act as the company’s representative during critical operational moments. Pre-Event Operational Planning– Collaborate with the Special Events Leader and key stakeholders to define logistics strategies, develop operational plans, coordinate timelines, and prepare on-site teams for optimal execution. Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting– Lead the operational debrief process, document key insights, assess vendor and staff performance, and recommend improvements for future events. Staff Supervision and Team Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership to event staff and vendors during setup, execution, and teardown. Ensure alignment with defined roles, responsibilities, and service protocols. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in any business/engineering. · 5 years of experience in event operations or event management. · Demonstrated leadership in high-stakes environments and a proven track record of successful event execution. · Mandatory Proficient/Professional English Skills: End-to-end event operations Vendor negotiation and quality control On-site logistics and risk management Staff supervision and scheduling Operational budgeting and reporting Travel experience with groups Strong decision-maker with the ability to manage complex operations, delegate effectively, and maintain control under pressure. Crisis Management: Skilled in rapidly identifying, assessing, and resolving unexpected issues to maintain event integrity and stakeholder satisfaction.
