If you love it, Scalapay it THE MISSION We’re looking for a hands-on Sales Lead Manager who thrives on owning targets, building pipeline, and turning sales conversations into meaningful, value-driven deals that drive long-term merchant success. As a Sales Lead Manage r, you’ll be at the heart of Scalapay’s expansion in the Italian market. You’ll be responsible for building a team, shaping a sales engine, and setting the bar for what great execution looks like. You will : Own new business revenue targets and deliver against ambitious growth plans in Italy. Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, in complex, multi-stakeholder deals; Build strong relationships with merchants and partners, and co-develop business plans that drive mutual value; Design and implement a localized Enterprise Sales playbook, tailored to winning merchants in our priority verticals; Roll out a structured forecasting and reporting system to bring visibility and discipline to the pipeline; Support the growth of a high-performing sales team, where pipeline generation is a must, and where ownership and collaboration drive performance and engagement; Coach peers when needed, not only on sales skills, but also on accountability, communication, and managing business cases with maturity. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Must have You’re an exceptional B2B sales performer with a proven track record of exceeding targets,ideally in SaaS, ecommerce, fintech, or digital marketing, and consistently standing out as a top contributor on any team; 5 years of experience in SaaS, ecommerce, fintech, or digital industries, working across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles; A strong ownership mindset, you take full responsibility for your pipeline and outcomes; Experience coaching or mentoring peers or direct reports, with a clear understanding of what great performance looks like Structured, data-driven and self-starting, your pipeline is clean, your notes are sharp, and you move fast without waiting for permission Excellent communication and influencing skills, you simplify complexity and earn trust with prospects and internal stakeholders; Nice to have Startup or scaleup experience; Familiarity with MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies; Exposure to ecommerce or retail tech environments.
