Head of Plant Process Quality & Metrology (m/f/d) Join to apply for the Head of Plant Process Quality & Metrology (m/f/d) role at ZF Group . We are seeking a highly qualified Head of Plant Process Quality & Metrology to lead and enhance measurement, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring and exceeding previous quality standards. Responsibilities include: Managing all metrology activities, ensuring measurement accuracy and precision Implementing and maintaining SPC and MSA systems to improve process quality Leading and training the shop-floor quality control team, consisting of two members, in the proper use of measuring and control instruments Ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory quality standards Collaborating with other departments to identify and resolve quality issues Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to management Managing and optimizing laboratory processes, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations Supervising the team responsible for process quality and testing activities Qualifications required: Degree in Engineering or a related field Experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial environment Proficiency in programming coordinate measuring machines (CMM) Strong problem-solving skills with a Green Belt Six Sigma certification or higher In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 standards Experience in laboratory management and related processes Leadership ability to motivate the process quality team Advanced knowledge of FMEA and Control Plans Basic knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus Excellent leadership and communication skills High attention to detail and quality orientation Additional details Seniority level: Director Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Referrals can double your chances of interviewing at ZF Group.
