Maintenance Manager - Mbombela

Requirements Technical Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles within industrial/manufacturing environments. At least 24 years in a similar managerial or leadership role. Proven experience with boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, and stock control. Competency in CMMS and understanding of preventative maintenance frameworks. Knowledge of General Machinery Regulations is advantageous. Key Attributes Strong understanding of power plant operations, maintenance risks, and regulatory compliance. Solid grasp of SHERQ management systems, occupational health, and industrial safety practices. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Skilled in negotiation, project management, and performance optimisation. Proficient in risk assessment, report writing, and maintenance auditing. Excellent computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills. Proactive and responsive to emergency maintenance situations.
