Manager, SingHealth Intellectual Property Office

The SingHealth Intellectual Property Office is seeking a Manager to focus on the commercialisation of new healthcare-related technologies developed under the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. You will work with the SingHealth clinical research community to identify and commercialise intellectual property arising from a diverse range of healthcare fields. You will also be involved in the management of a growing portfolio of patent and trademark applications and in promoting the awareness and benefits of healthcare innovation development. Job requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or a relevant scientific/engineering field with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Candidates with a PhD in these fields and / or a Professional Certification in intellectual property or technology transfer will be preferred. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property protection and Intellectual Property rights law. Familiarity with contract and corporate law will be preferred. Ability to work effectively and assertively influence key stakeholders, and build and support business relationships and partnerships. Track record of successfully negotiating commercial contracts with industry partners, particularly related to the licensing of technologies and/or new enterprise development.
