Salesforce Application Developer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sr. Salesforce Applications Developer to join our team in Mexico. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications on the Salesforce platform. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement customizations, and integrate Salesforce with other systems to support critical business functions. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, Functional Analysts, and Product Owners to collect and analyze application requirements. Configuration and Customization: Customize the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC); configure custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules. Community Portals: Design and implement community portals using Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud). Integration: Develop integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other tools; ensure data integrity and reliability. Testing & Deployment: Create test plans, conduct unit and UAT testing, and manage deployment using version control and change management best practices. Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, manage user permissions and security settings, and recommend platform optimizations. Documentation & Training: Maintain technical documentation, develop user manuals and training materials, and conduct end-user training sessions. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of experience in Salesforce applications development Proven expertise with Sales and Service Cloud and Experience Cloud Hands-on experience designing and developing community portals Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required); Platform Developer II (preferred) Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Salesforce data and security models Experience with Salesforce administration, including user and data management Strong knowledge of integration practices and tools (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware) Familiarity with relational databases and SQL Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Skills Experience with Agile development methodologies Knowledge of DevOps practices for Salesforce (e.g., CI/CD pipelines) Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Integration Architecture Designer) Why Join Us?
