Senior Application Support Engineer

This position is a remote position to work from Mexico. You will be working as a consultant directly with clients US Clients. We offer: 100% Remote Work $20 to $28 USD per hour Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated Application Support Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Linux-based environments, Java/Python scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of enterprise applications and infrastructure, while working collaboratively within a global support team. Key Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 application and infrastructure support for Java or python platforms on Linux systems. Develop and troubleshoot scripts in Java/Python for automation and monitoring. Experience in SQL scripting. Proactively resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and communicate updates clearly. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SDLC, and Linux system platforms. Proficiency in Java and/or Python. Strong Linux scripting and administration skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments and work in rotational shifts. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supporting large-scale environments (10,000 servers). Prior exposure to ITIL/ITSM processes and multi-application support. Experience working in a global client-facing support setup. Financial industry background is a plus.
