Construction Draw Tracking Specialist

Job Description Our client, a white-glove third-party service provider that is integral in the construction & development process, seeks an experienced Construction Draw Tracking Specialist to join their growing, entrepreneurial team. The Construction Draw Tracking Specialist works closely with the Director of Field Operations to ensure that requested proceeds for construction are in alignment with on-site improvements and industry standards. They have familiarity with both construction accounting, understand the norms of the construction industry, and are able to discern red flags, potential delays, and estimated costs. This role is an in-office environment full-time for at least the first several months, in a beautiful, well-appointed office in Old Town Pasadena, near public transit. Hybrid schedule is available upon satisfactory performance and agreement. A day in the life of the successful Construction Draw Tracking Specialist includes, but is not limited to: Reviewing and analyzing draw and inspection report documentation to determine if the requested proceeds are appropriate with observed onsite improvements and industry customs Gathering additional information by asking questions, taking notes during conversations with construction professionals and project managers Summarizing their findings from conversations and site-visits, and completing thorough, well-written site inspection reports Requirements The ideal Construction Draw Tracking Specialist possesses the following experience & skills: 2-4 years of experience in construction, preferably someone who has experience with both construction accounting and working on-site/in the field Knowledge of basic construction principles, vocabulary, and stakeholders Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with internal and external stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills and is comfortable speaking professionally with construction project managers over the phone & via text message Computer literate; adaptable and able to learn our client's construction finance software, and additional software as required
