Job Description

The Delivery Manager/Lead, In-Store Commerce will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of in-store retail commerce technology projects, such as Oracle POS, Microsoft POS, or equivalent systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, aligning project delivery with business objectives and user needs. The Delivery Lead will also identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency in a fast-paced, global fashion retail environment. As a Delivery Manager/Lead , you will: Oversee the delivery of in-store retail commerce technology projects, such as Oracle POS, Microsoft POS, or equivalent systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure on-time delivery. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency within project delivery. Utilise data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate the impact of delivery management on retail operations. Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and innovation within the delivery team. THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Must-Have Experience & Skills: Extensive experience in managing delivery of retail commerce technologies such as Oracle POS, Microsoft POS, or equivalent systems Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Proven track record of successfully managing project timelines, resources, and budgets Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to create detailed project plans and manage project documentation Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies Experience with process optimisation and efficiency improvement initiatives Leadership skills to guide and mentor team members Soft Skills: Communication : Clearly articulating project goals and collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Leadership : Guiding and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Adaptability : Being flexible and open to new ideas, technologies, and methodologies. Strategic Thinking : Aligning project delivery with business goals and objectives. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist) are a plus. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in the retail industry, particularly within a global context. Proven track record of collaborating cross-functional technology teams in front-end development or customer experience projects. Experience in analysing and mapping customer journeys, and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
