Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Vision and Strategy (20%): Develop and maintain a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with Deltas long-term business goals while breaking down the business vision into clear initiatives to ensure a unified direction across cross-functional teams through strong, influential leadership. Leverage design thinking tools and techniques such as, but not limited to Persona Identification, Empathy Mapping, and Journey Mapping, to develop strong customer-centric product roadmaps Facilitate capability diagramming to understand the business and technical landscape at a high level Leverage agile mindset and methodologies, while incorporating end-to-end strategic thinking to develop product roadmaps. Go-to-market plans focusing on achieving quick delivery and optimal market penetration. Stakeholder Management (20%): Manage and influence stakeholders across the organization to align with the products vision and priorities through effective communication and leadership skills. Embrace ownership of product vision with ability to communicate effectively to business and IT stakeholders Present to senior leadership regarding the strategic product vision and long-term strategic roadmap Empower product owners and development teams for the execution of the product vision. Market Insight (15%): Conduct thorough market and consumer research to identify trends, understand the competitive landscape, and deliver customer satisfaction. Leverage market insight techniques which could include but are not limited to: Focus Groups, Survey, Consumer Insights, Industry Leading Reports, Field Work, and Conferences. Product Oversight & Execution (40%): Oversee the management of multiple complex products, ensuring timely and quality delivery of product initiatives. Own the roadmap for the products by creating Initiatives, Epics, and Features Identify MVPs and release frequently for faster Customer Feedback, Validation of Hypothesis. Define the initial product release strategies. Implement and support Agile and iterative development practices to enhance product development cycles. Analyze data and market trends to determine key product delivery metrics and leverage strategic frameworks such as OKRs (Objects and Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Leadership (5%): Serve as a servant and thought leader in fostering a positive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork Facilitate problem-solving, decision-making, and risk-management activities Effectively prioritize the product backlogs Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or information science. 12 years of relevant work experience 7 years of proven experience in product management, preferably within the Airline industry Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working in an Agile environment. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership abilities. Ability to curate and share data-driven storytelling on the value and impact of Products to various senior leader stakeholders. Create buy-in using data-driven decision-making and strong analytical skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage various stakeholders. Experience in Product Backlog, Sprint planning, Product Roadmap & defining agile requirements (Epics, features & user stories) Actively participate in all squad ceremonies, including Daily stand-up, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Experience in Team Leadership: Managed, mentored, coached and developed teams, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment Experience in Resource Allocation, Capacity Planning & Resource utilization Experience in Performance Management by providing regular performance feedback, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement. A visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate future needs in product design and development. Preferred Qualifications: SAFe 6.0 POPM Certification ID: DELAL01
