THE GIG: The Senior manager is responsible for leading the team of BAs to deliver Supply Chain solutions that meet the needs of the business as we deliver our strategy. This role will partner with the business global supply chain team to ensure the seamless implementation, integration, and optimization of technology. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, outcome focused technology lead. You are passionate about technology, enjoy coaching people for success and have a deep understanding of supply chain processes. This pivotal role will focus on how our Global Supply Chain technology products, across our global manufacturing and distribution estate, are delivered. You will report to the Director of Finance and Supply Chain supporting a globally distributed GSC function. Main Responsibilities : Support and develop reliable and efficient technology solutions for the GSC function Ensure platforms bring automation and improved efficiency to business process enabling maximum return on investment. Build relationships with the GSC function ensuring good collaboration. Stay ahead of advancements in technologies and methodologies, introducing innovations as needed. Act as a key member of the GSC technology team develop plans for improved governance, delivery models and management of Supply Chain Master and transactional data. Build documented functional and technical specifications for GSC applications. Audit existing implementations of Supply chain systems making recommendations for improved deployment and utilization in the business. Lead the delivery of GSC systems activity to the GSC function issue investigation and resolution, reporting, scenario analysis. Work in close collaboration with the other members of the Global Supply Chain leadership team to deliver outcomes and maximize value. Support the GSC Product Owner with managing the domain requirements backlog of EPICs and Features. Facilitate the breakdown of EPICs into Features with the Global Supply Chain Product teams. Minimize and manage dependencies between the GSC Product team and other Domain teams. Facilitate and run SCRUMSs for the product team. Facilitate the coordinated preparation and execution of release planning for the team. Working with the GSC team and key business stakeholders who prioritize Features to be considered in the next program increment (PI) planning cycle. Facilitating the GSC teams refinement of Features to be considered in the next PI planning cycle to meet the Feature Definition of Ready. Assists the GSC team with communication and coordination of stakeholders and customers during Feature definition and delivery. Ensuring effective communication and coordination for and during quarterly planning. Managing change to the GSC PI plan and the impacts of those changes. Drive cross-team, Domain, and departmental impediments, planning, collaboration, and coordination. Provide regular and open communication across the GSC stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments. Understand, visualize and manage upstream/downstream dependencies. Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity. Manage GSC level coordination, such as creating timelines, milestones, and cadence of increments and releases and oversee the development of reports and analyses that document team activity. Act as a galvanizing force for sharing Agile knowledge across the organisation. Constantly refine and stay current with emerging themes in larger Agile community. Support the configuration of Agile to the needs of the organization, standardising and documenting practices. Manage and deliver Features and enhancements based on product and roadmap and Product team priorities. Coordinate future releases based on stakeholder inputs within existing prioritization frameworks. Continuously innovate in line with industry best practice, market trends. Mature towards broader or full continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) capabilities with the associated tooling (eg. DevOps; Jira, etc). Ensure that both business and technology work toward a shared vision and shared objectives. Develop relationships with product and other enabling capability owners to leverage our full capabilities. Ensure that the Product Owners requirements are met in a way that is reusable across DM. Hire, onboard, develop and retain a high-performing team of IT professionals. Youll have direct line management responsibility for Business Analysts within the DM GSC product teams. Ensure that there is sufficient systems process documentation and that security controls are robust and working in line with expectations. You will bring the outside in & keep up to date with emerging technology developments within the Microsoft D365 space, updating business stakeholders of pipeline improvements and the value they could bring. In a technology context, working with the technology leadership team, you will support internal customers, including the COO and GSC Leadership team to develop and iterate the technology strategy. Direct the development and subsequent delivery of future systems roadmaps to support the future operating model for the GSC function. Analyse requirements, design, specify and implement technology solutions in line with the business and GSC strategy that will add value to the business. Several years leading a team. Experienced in building functional and technical specifications for integrated solutions across technologies. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365 (essential). A good background in Product information management, Inbound & outbound freight processes, WMS processes & integration, etc Experience with agile ways of working and other delivery methodologies. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and integrations. You will be a strong people manager and role model with a track record of developing a high-performing team of professionals and maximizing engagement. Great leadership and relationship management that delivers results through effective teamwork Youll partner effectively with the wider IT team to build a highly engaged team youll embed a collaborative culture and ensure the team have direction, guidance & support; coaching will be your go-to You will take ownership for your own development, proactively seeking out feedback to build self-awareness; youll prioritize the development of those around you and will take an active role in creating other future leaders You will bring the outside-in, youll share best practice across the team / business and encourage ideas sharing as well as collaborative problem solving Youll lead the way and role model on all things DE&I & wellbeing Designing and as a solution architect, working with the rest of the architects overlooking the project MRP/ Master Planning/ Planning Retail preferred Knowledge on cost management THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Must-Haves: Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies specifically Dynamics AX/D365FO. 12 years' experience of supporting supply chain systems, 8-10 with D365 F&O End to end process ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Expertise experience integrating D365 into a wider enterprise technology architecture including D&A platforms. Soft Skills: Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to think both short and long term. Good communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and non-technical: demonstrating the ability to work with supply chain business teams. A proactive, innovative approach to solving challenges and driving change. Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative tech-driven solutions.
