Costing Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates based on technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements Analyze materials, labour, and overhead costs to establish budgets and pricing strategies Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to compile cost data Monitor cost trends and generate reports for management decision-making Identify and recommend cost-saving measures without compromising safety or quality Maintain and update internal costing databases and documentation Assist in tendering and bidding processes with thorough cost analysis Requirements: Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, or a related field (advantageous) Proven experience in a similar costing or estimating role Bilingual in English and Afrikaans Background in HVAC, ventilation, or fan applications is beneficial Proficient in Excel and other costing-related tools Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude Whats on Offer: Supportive and inclusive team culture Exposure to a dynamic and professional work environment Opportunities for personal and career development Competitive, market-related salary and benefits Flexible working hours: 08:0017:00 (MonThurs), 08:0016:00 on Fridays (or 15:00 if work is completed) Please forward your CV to cindy@personastaff.co.za Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
