Senior Salesforce Developer

The Senior Salesforce Applications Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications on the Salesforce platform. This role works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure the system, and implement custom solutions to meet evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, Functional Analysts, and Product Owners to collect and understand application requirements. Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and propose effective Salesforce-based solutions. Configuration and Customization: Configure the Salesforce platform to align with business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process automations. Develop custom functionalities using Apex , Visualforce , and Lightning Web Components (LWC) . System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems such as ERP platforms, marketing tools, and third-party applications. Design and implement robust data mappings, ensure data integrity, and build integration logic using APIs, middleware, and related tools. Testing and Deployment: Create test plans, perform unit testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT). Manage the deployment lifecycle using sandboxes, version control, and change management processes to ensure seamless transitions to production with minimal impact. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Oversee user access, security permissions, and monitor system performance, offering recommendations for improvement when necessary. Documentation and Training: Maintain thorough documentation for application design, technical specifications, and system configurations. Develop user guides and training materials, and lead training sessions to ensure stakeholder enablement and effective knowledge transfer. Minimum Qualifications & Skills: At least 6 years of experience in Salesforce application development. Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II . Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform architecture , data model, security model, workflows, and customization tools. Proficiency in Apex , Visualforce , and Lightning Web Components (LWC) . Familiarity with Salesforce administration including user and data management, security, and permissions. Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs , web services, and middleware for system integrations. Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL . Ability to analyze complex business requirements and deliver scalable, technical solutions. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
