Job Title: Data Modeler Position Type: Full-time/Onsite Location: Mexico ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data model designs Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business needs Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data integrity and accuracy Implement best practices for data modeling and database design Define requirements for data pipeline workflows Develop user stories with detailed requirements and acceptance criteria that address end-user needs Cursory familiarity with leading data technologies (Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT, Databricks, Tableau) and experience collaboratively working with teams that utilize these technologies Create work products as needed including requirements and system documentation Work within an Agile framework to develop and execute against a Product roadmap Participate in recurring Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Demos, etc. Anticipate, mitigate and chaperone escalations MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years demonstrated experience in Data Modeling, Business Consulting, IT Business Analysis, or another related field Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and collaboration abilities Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
