Senior User Experience Designer

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in designing and developing the appearance and usability of a unique product. The UX Designer will have the opportunity to cover all aspects of UX, including user research, usability testing, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design, and is responsible for designing a product that delights users from the user’s first contact to the final interaction. RESPONSIBILITIES Generate ideas through techniques such as brainstorming, interviewing, competitive research, and strategic analysis to solve customer needs. Select the most promising ideas based on feasibility, desirability and viability, among other criteria. Prototype designs, which can range from simple paper sketches to high-fidelity and interactive digital mock-ups. Provide and solicit feedback on designs, as well as the designs of teammates. Conduct usability and user tests to determine if designs can be further improved. Push a design solution to production that will benefit both the company and the users. QUALITIES Have sufficient understanding of broad topics in UX, such as information architecture, psychology, emotional design, interaction design, and visual design. Flexibility to work with general company guidelines. Ability to thrive in fast-paced working environments. Ability to generate multiple design solutions for a given problem. Find it fulfilling to analyze complex data to produce and achieve design goals. QUALIFICATIONS Senior-Level Experience: Proven expertise in UX/UI design with at least 5 years of experience, with a focus on software products like SaaS applications. Strong Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing previous SaaS or similar product design projects, demonstrating expertise in both UX and UI design. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers. Experience working in a software environment that is already off the ground and running. User-Centered Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles , with a focus on creating intuitive and accessible user experiences. Wireframing & Prototyping: Software proficiency, preferably Figma. Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Adaptability: Ability to adapt design solutions based on changing project priorities, business goals, or user feedback, and navigate ambiguity. Time Management: Demonstrates a calm and methodical approach to managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines , with the ability to prioritize effectively and stay organized while maintaining high-quality design work. Problem-Solving Skills: Creative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex product requirements into clear design solutions. Positive Attitude: Maintains a positive attitude even in challenging or high-pressure situations, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in english, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders and team members. Design Systems: Experience applying design systems to new products. Working within constraints and modifying existing components for new features. Jira/ Agile Methodology: Experience working in sprints with a comprehensive understanding.
