We’re Hiring: Tax Accountant & Bookkeeper (Remote - U.S. Accounting Focus) Location: Remote ⏰ Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Salary: Payroll 18K MXN - 24K MXN Direct 21K MXN - 30K MXN (based on experience) Benefits: 15 days Christmas bonus, 12 vacation days 5 PTO days About the Role We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive, and self-sufficient Tax Accountant & Bookkeeper to join our growing team! You'll be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks across multiple clients and supporting tax return preparation. If you're a strong communicator, QuickBooks expert, and comfortable handling U.S. tax work, this remote role could be a great fit for you. What You’ll Do: Bookkeeping Manage monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online Reconcile bank and credit card statements Categorize and record transactions and maintain general ledgers Prepare monthly financial reports and communicate findings Tax Services Prepare business and individual tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065) Assist with quarterly estimates and annual tax planning Maintain organized tax workpapers and stay updated on IRS regulations Client & Internal Collaboration Communicate directly with clients to collect and clarify financial data Take ownership of assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and solve problems independently Suggest process improvements and provide timely insights ✅ What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4 years of accounting experience (U.S. based preferred) Prior experience with tax preparation (individual and business returns) Technical Tools QuickBooks Online (advanced level) Microsoft Excel (proficiency required) Familiarity with ProSeries or other tax prep software Language & Soft Skills Advanced English fluency (written and spoken – clear communication required) Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and ethical standards Self-starter mindset with a proactive attitude and strong sense of accountability Join Us!
